Hibiscus is an annual and perennial flowering plants, shrubs and deciduous and evergreen trees. It has large, funnel-shaped flowers that range in color between white, yellow, orange, pink, mauve and purple. The foliage of Hibiscus is dark green when fully developed in the summer. Its leaves start growing from late spring in temperate region. This shrub can grow to over 10 feet. Dried hibiscus flowers can be used to make an herbal tea that is a mild diuretic and can lower blood pressure.
